Is it permissible to declare a suicide victim an infidel (kafir)? Is it permissible to supplicate for mercy for them? What is the opinion regarding someone who described a female suicide victim as a "fornicating infidel," and regarding the sheikhs who refrained from helping her?

All sins – except polytheism (shirk) – do not expel their perpetrator from Islam, and he is under the will of Allah. This is evidenced by the hadith in Sahih Muslim about the person who killed himself, and the Prophet’s supplication for his forgiveness. Therefore, there is no impediment to showing mercy and seeking forgiveness for this woman who committed suicide. As for the Shaykh, he is excused for not helping her. It is important to note the prohibition of aborting a fetus after the ensoulment.
