Why did Allah Almighty mention the "Valley of Ants" in the Qur’an, where was this valley, and did ants live there only in the time of Prophet Solomon, without spreading to other places on Earth?

The Valley of Ants (Wadi al-Naml) is mentioned once in the Quran, in the story of Sulayman (Solomon), peace be upon him. Exegetes have differed on its location, with some saying it was in Sham (Greater Syria) and others in Ta'if. It is also possible that "Valley of Ants" refers to the general category of valleys where ants live, or a specific place renowned for its abundance of ants. There is no indication that ants live only in a particular place and nowhere else. The verse suggests that the place was simply teeming with ants.
