Will Allah take retribution from a young man who abandoned a girl after she waited for him and endured a lot for his sake, then insulted her and her family, claiming that he did not wrong her, even though she was talking to him without anything official between them?

Familiarity, calls, and correspondence between young men and women are a gateway to evil and corruption. These matters are not permissible under the pretext of intending marriage. Even after engagement, the suitor remains a stranger to the fiancée until the marriage contract is concluded. His withdrawal from the engagement is disliked if there is no valid reason. You must repent to Allah for speaking to this young man without need, and you are not permitted to supplicate against him or his family. If an injustice occurred, your right will not be lost with Allah. You should not preoccupy yourself with his matter, but rather focus on what benefits you in your religion and worldly life, and have good thoughts about Allah, for He may compensate you with someone better than him.
