What is the ruling on money given to an employee as an unsolicited gift, or that which he requests in exchange for forging documents?

It is impermissible for an employee to accept a gift in exchange for his work, even if he did not request it, because this is forbidden by Islamic law. As for his taking money in exchange for forging documents, this is even more forbidden, as it combines forgery and accepting a bribe. It is incumbent upon whoever commits these reprehensible acts to repent to Allah and be mindful of Him in his work.
