What is the ruling on purchasing from Masonic companies, which are said to be devil-worshipping companies, especially since most phone, computer, and car companies are Masonic?

It is permissible to engage in transactions with disbelievers in buying, selling, and permissible matters, if there is a benefit for the Muslim or if necessity calls for it. The proof for this is the action of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions, as narrated in Bukhari that the Prophet's shield was pawned with a Jew when he passed away. Ibn al-Arabi mentioned in "Ahkam al-Quran" that the correct view is the permissibility of dealing with them, citing the Almighty's saying: "The food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you." Al-Sarakhsi, in "Sharh al-Siyar al-Kabir," permitted a Muslim to carry goods to the people of war, except for livestock, weapons, and captives, due to the Muslims' need for what is in their lands. An exception to this is when Muslims see a legitimate interest in an economic boycott of a specific company or country, and the assessment of this rests with the people of knowledge and specialization.
