Why was it adopted in Fatwa No. (105528) that Jews and Christians are disbelievers based on the verse: "Indeed, those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell," even though the verse may indicate the disbelief of a segment of them, not all of them?

"(Min)" in the two verses is for explanation, not for partiality. So, whoever among the People of the Book witnessed the advent of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and did not embrace Islam, is a disbeliever, because no religion other than Islam is accepted after his advent.
