Did Dr. Yusuf Al-Qaradawi issue a fatwa that Christians are among the people of Paradise?

Sheikh Al-Qaradawi holds that the People of the Book are to be judged as disbelievers in this world. He distinguishes between those who received the message of Islam accurately and did not embrace it—their disbelief applies to both this world and the Hereafter—and those who did not receive it. The latter are treated as disbelievers in this world, but their fate in the Hereafter is similar to that of the Ahl al-Fatra (people of the interval). He clarified his view in his commentary on Sheikh Al-Zarqa's fatwas, stating that anyone who does not believe in the message of Muhammad, peace be upon him, is considered a disbeliever in terms of worldly rulings, while the aforementioned categorization applies to the rulings of the Hereafter.
