Whoever wants to wash ritually impure clothes, he must pour water over them to purify them from the impurity before putting them with other clothes in the washing machine. If water is put into a basin and then the clothes are placed in it, they will not be purified if the water is less than two qullahs, or if it is two qullahs but one of its characteristics (color, taste, smell) has changed due to the impurity. However, if it is two qullahs and the water has not changed, then they will be purified. Two qullahs are estimated to be approximately 200 liters.
