Is my work in a call center, which requires me to impersonate another person (French) and provide false information about my identity, considered a lie and thus makes this work unlawful (haram)?

Lying is reporting something contrary to reality. Your statement that you are French while you are Moroccan is an impermissible lie according to Islamic law, based on the : "Beware of lying, for lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Hellfire." Therefore, if your work requires lying or promoting religiously forbidden things, it is not permissible for you to remain in it.
