Is it permissible for a family to reside in a foreign country where they pay taxes whose fate is unknown, and their return to their home country would negatively affect their children's education, especially their son with autism who faces educational difficulties?

It is recommended to supplicate for one's children for their righteousness. Among the Quranic supplications are: (Our Lord, and make us Muslims [submitting] to You and from our offspring a nation submitting to You) and (And make righteous for me my offspring) and (And keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols).

As for residing in non-Muslim countries, its ruling depends on the ability to practice the rituals of the religion, to be safe from being influenced by falsehood, and to raise children upon the religion. If one is unable, then migration becomes obligatory. If one is able, then it is not obligatory but rather recommended.

Parents must contribute to raising and educating their children, directly teaching the child themselves, searching for a suitable school for him, utilizing modern means, and consulting doctors when necessary.
