Is it permissible for a young man to emigrate to another country to find a suitable environment for the worship of Allah and to abandon innovations (bid'ah), even though his parents are still alive and he is unmarried?

It is permissible for a Muslim to move to another country if it helps him obey Allah, provided that it does not cause harm or injury to his parents. Otherwise, it is not permissible for him to do so. He must strive to obey Allah and distance himself from sources of temptation in his country. Righteousness towards parents is one of the greatest acts of proximity to Allah, and it takes precedence over Jihad and seeking knowledge. How then can it not take precedence over moving to seek safety for one's religion and devote oneself to worship?
