Can a deceased parent be pleased with their son if the son removes the cause of disagreement and prays for his father, and does the state of the deceased change through pleasure or displeasure with their children?

Allah forgives His servant if he becomes righteous, returns to Him, and makes sincere repentance, as stated in His exalted words: "And indeed, I am the All-Forgiving to him who repents, believes, and does righteous deeds, and then is guided." So, if the son repents, supplicates for his father, gives charity on his behalf, maintains ties of kinship, and performs good deeds whose rewards reach the deceased, we hope that this will erase what has passed and earn the pleasure of Allah and his father, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "When a son of Adam dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge from which others benefit, or a righteous child who supplicates for him."
