The basic principle is that intercourse with a pregnant woman is permissible and not harmful. However, if the spouses are certain, based on the statements of trustworthy doctors, that it would harm the fetus, then the correct course of action is to abstain. But if the fear is unfounded, and intercourse is a right for both spouses, then if they mutually agree to abstain, there is no sin. If the wife desires it, the husband does not have the right to prevent her from it.
