Is it permissible for a mother to transfer ownership of her properties to her two daughters, one of whom is married and the other unmarried?

There is no objection to a mother gifting all or part of her wealth to her children during her lifetime. This gift becomes binding if it is completed while she is in good health, and a condition for its binding nature is that it must be taken possession of during her lifetime. If the donor dies before possession is taken, then the gift becomes void according to the majority of scholars. Possession here means vacating the property and enabling the donee to take control of it.
