Is she sinful who removes her face covering while adhering to the Shar’i controls, such as not beautifying herself or wearing makeup?

Scholars have differed regarding the obligation for a woman to cover her face in front of non-mahram men. The preponderant opinion is that it is obligatory, and therefore, it is not permissible to uncover the face in front of non-mahram men. However, according to the opinion that permits uncovering the face when there is no fear of temptation, there is no harm in doing so. Nevertheless, covering the face is superior for complete preservation, perfect modesty, and emulating the Mothers of the Believers.
