Is it permissible to treat warts with eggplant and barley by burying a grain of barley placed on the wart inside an eggplant buried in the ground, and is this considered sorcery or polytheism?

There is no Shar'i, medical, or empirical evidence to prove the effectiveness of treating warts by placing a barley grain on them, then putting it in an eggplant, and burying it in the ground. This might be inspired by sorcerers. However, if placing barley on the wart and then placing the hand in the ground proves beneficial through experience without causing harm, then there is no objection to using it. The optimal treatment with earth is what was mentioned in the Hadith of Aisha, where the sick person says: "In the name of Allah, the soil of our land, with the saliva of some of us, our sick will be cured, by the permission of our Lord." This is done by placing some saliva on the finger and then wiping the diseased area with earth.
