What is the ruling on ruqyah for healing "warts" which includes saying: "O prophethood in the body that dies, I ask You by the One who does not die," and repeating "die, die, die," and cutting a straw and burying it? Is addressing "inanimate objects" and cutting the straw permissible or prohibited?

Ruqyah is an incantation performed by reciting the Quran, prophetic supplications (Duas), and remembrances (Adhkar) to preserve health and ward off illness. It can be used as prevention and treatment for all diseases and pains. The Prophet's Sunnah has indicated the permissibility of Ruqyah for all diseases, wounds, and sores. Legitimate forms of Ruqyah are those that originate from the Quran, the authentic Sunnah, or legitimate Islamic supplications. As for others, they must be presented to scholars to ensure they are free from Islamic violations. Addressing warts to make them die, or cutting and burying scabs, are superstitions that have no basis. Allah has enriched us with the Quran, legitimate Islamic supplications, and medical treatment.
