When and for how long does a woman whose husband has been declared missing by a court, after a period of waiting for him, observe the 'iddah (waiting period)?

If the Sharia court rules that the missing person is deceased, his wife observes the iddah (waiting period) of death from the time of the ruling. The iddah for a woman whose husband has died, if she is not pregnant, is four months and ten days. If she is pregnant, her iddah is until she gives birth.
