What is the ruling on swearing falsely upon the Mushaf to escape certain danger?

Lying is religiously forbidden and blameworthy, and it is not permissible to resort to it except out of necessity or pressing need that cannot be averted otherwise, such as saving a Muslim or their property. Therefore, there is no blame on someone who swore falsely out of fear for themselves, and the preferable approach in such a case is to use equivocation (Tawriya).
