How can one advise a woman who wears short and revealing clothes in front of other women at weddings, and is a woman's awrah (intimate parts) from the knee to the navel, and what is the proof for that? Are not modesty and faith intertwined?

The 'awrah of a Muslim woman in front of another Muslim woman is the area between the navel and the knee, which is the opinion of the majority of scholars. It is not permissible for a Muslim woman to wear clothes that describe or reveal what is not allowed to be shown in front of women, especially since this could be a source of fitnah for some women in these times. If a woman violates the Shariah in her dress, she must be advised with kindness and gentleness, and the truth should be explained to her, as Allah Almighty says: "Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good counsel" and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, gentleness is not in anything except that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it disgraces it." A woman should be keen on modesty and covering in front of her sister; for it is better, more excellent, and safer.
