What is the ruling on working in Spain picking grape leaves or grapes, while being unaware of whether the grapes will be used for juice or for wine?

Working in the cutting of grapes or grape leaves is permissible. The possibility of its use in wine has three scenarios:

1. If you know or strongly believe that the person for whom you are cutting the grapes will use them for pressing wine, then it is not permissible for you to cut them; because it is assisting in something unlawful, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: {And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.} 2. If you know or strongly believe that it will be used for lawful purposes, then there is no blame upon you. 3. If you do not know and do not strongly believe either this or that, then the basic principle is permissibility.
