Is it permissible to demolish a ruined and abandoned mosque after the construction of a replacement جامع (Jami' - congregational) mosque?

If the mosque is replaced by a new one and is no longer needed, it should be sold, and its price spent on other mosques. It is to be sold to the highest bidder, and the city's judge or ruler is to be entrusted with selling the mosque. However, if the neighbors still need the old mosque due to the distance of the new mosque, it must be renovated by benefactors, or its case should be presented to the Ministry of Endowments.
