Is it permissible to hold a mixed da'wah session to teach non-Muslims (men and women) about Islam, in the absence of a female Muslim da'iyah for women, in order to avoid giving the impression that Islam demeans women?

Calling people to Allah is one of the best acts of worship and is an obligation on every individual according to their capacity. The means to achieve it must be lawful. Calling women who are immodestly dressed and mixing with men is fraught with temptations. If there is no female caller suitable for this task, then men may undertake it, while fearing Allah and striving to educate women to carry out the call. As for the unlawful mixing in this scenario, there is no harm in calling them all together in it, because asking them to separate men from women might alienate them from Islam. After they embrace Islam, they must be gently taught that Islam prohibits mixing in such a reprehensible manner, and it should be clarified that the prohibition of mixing is a protection for women, not an insult to them, and this ruling applies to both men and women.
