Do the wife's repeated statements, such as "Go to your family" or "I don't want you," accompanied by doubt regarding the intention at the time, constitute a revocable divorce (طلاق الكناية)?

May Allah grant you well-being and heal you from the whispers you complain of. We advise you never to use divorce pronouncements. Phrases like "Go to your family" and "I do not want you" are allusive (kinaya) expressions of divorce, which cause divorce to occur if accompanied by intention. Since you are in doubt about your intention at the time of uttering them, then nothing is incumbent upon you, because doubt concerning divorce prevents its occurrence. The original state is the continuation of the marital bond until there is certainty of its severance. A marriage established with certainty is not removed by doubt.
