What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding phrases such as: "Madad, madad, جد الحسنين" (Aid, aid, O Grandson of the Two), "O light of the Prophet, the Prophet attended this gathering," "My Lord, I have indeed asked You for my need through Muhammad the Chosen One, by the verses," "And I have asked You, O my God, hoping through Muhammad that You will not disappoint my hope," "Turn your heart towards the door of Muhammad, for he is the path to the One God.. He who did not take him as a means has failed and appears almost devoid of faith," and "Muhammad, O aid of the stranger"?

The question contained several violations:

1. "Madad Ya Jadd Al-Hussein" (Aid, O Grandfather of Hussein): Seeking aid from other than Allah is polytheism (shirk) and worship of other than Him, for supplication is an act of worship. The Prophet possesses no power to benefit or harm himself, and he is a human being who possesses only what Allah wills.

2. "O Light of the Prophet, the Prophet attended this gathering": There is no evidence that the Prophet attends the gatherings of any of creation. What some ignorant people do by leaving a place for the Prophet in gatherings is a sign of ignorance of the religion.

3. Seeking intercession through the Messenger: Phrases like "Your station is praised" (Maqamuk Mahmood), "O Guiding Presence" (Ya Hadrat Al-Hadi), and "O Door of Mercy" (Ya Bab Al-Rahma) all indicate seeking intercession through the Messenger, which is an innovation (bid'ah) that was not practiced by the Companions or the Successors. Describing those who do not use the Messenger as a means (of intercession) as failures is a dispraise of the early generations of the Ummah who did not do so.
