Is it the case that whoever swears by a surah must offer expiation for each verse, and what is the "sabr oath"?

The aforementioned hadith (definition) is weak due to its discontinuity and because its narrators are criticized. Legal rulings are not established by weak hadiths. The predominant view is that whoever swears by the Qur'an or a surah (definition) from it owes a single expiation for an oath, as stated by Ahmad, Al-Shafi'i, and Abu 'Ubayd. This is because swearing by all of Allah's attributes or repeating an oath by Allah does not necessitate more than one expiation, so swearing by a single attribute is more fitting. Also, Allah's saying: {But He will punish you for what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people} includes it. The meaning of "yamin (definition) al-sabr" (a binding oath) is an oath that is binding and whose swearer is compelled to fulfill it before a judge. The origin of "sabr" is confinement and restraint.
