When did the Mother of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, die?

Historians differed regarding the exact date of the passing of Aminah bint Wahb. Some said she died when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was two, or four, or six, or seven years old. The most preponderant opinion is that she passed away two, or four, or six, or seven years after the Year of the Elephant, because the birth of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, occurred in the Year of the Elephant.
