Are the problems that occur between engaged couples a punishment from Allah for their actions that violate Sharia?

The suitor is a stranger to the fiancée, and nothing from her becomes permissible for him until the marriage contract is concluded. Therefore, one must repent to Allah. If calamities befall or a servant feels a lack of success, he should blame himself and review his relationship with Allah, because بلاء (affliction) does not descend except due to a sin and is not removed except through repentance. Sins remove blessings and bring about misfortunes. Therefore, review yourself, renew your repentance from sins, adhere to the obligatory duties, avoid acts of disobedience, and frequently engage in remembrance of Allah and supplication.
