The obligatory justice is to spend the night with the wife whose turn it is. If the wife agrees to phone calls or internet communication as a substitute for an overnight stay, that is permissible. However, the husband should consider the feelings of the present wife and communicate with the absent wife from another location. It is a wife's right that her husband not be absent from her for more than six months without a valid excuse. Communicating with a fiancée before the marriage contract is not permissible.
