A husband must be just among his wives concerning their night stays. This is an obligation upon him, even if the two wives are in different countries. It is the wife's right that her husband not be absent from her for more than six months, except with her consent. The husband is not obliged to speak with one wife one day and the other wife the next day, but he should check on her well-being periodically. This communication must be away from the second wife if it causes problems.
