What is the ruling on the saying: "People's رضا (pleasure/satisfaction) is an unattainable goal"?

This saying is from the words of Imam Al-Shafi'i, and it is true, for no one can gain the رضا (satisfaction) of all people. Therefore, one must be keen on pleasing Allah alone, and not seek the satisfaction of people through actions that displease Him. As in the Hadith: "Whoever seeks Allah's pleasure despite people's displeasure, Allah will spare him the burden of people. And whoever seeks people's pleasure despite Allah's displeasure, Allah will entrust him to the people."
