What is the ruling on falsely swearing upon the Qur'an with repentance?

A false oath is one of the major sins, and many scholars hold that there is no expiation for it due to the gravity of the sin. If the oath was taken before puberty, there is no sin upon the one who took it, as they were not yet accountable. However, if it occurred after puberty, it is a grave sin that requires sincere repentance through seeking forgiveness, feeling remorse, resolving not to repeat it, and striving for truthfulness in speech and action. If the false oath resulted in injustice to someone, repentance is not valid unless rights are restored or forgiveness is sought; otherwise, repentance alone suffices.
