Is it permissible for a boy aged 10 to lead his mother or sister in prayer, and is it permissible for them to lead him? And is it permissible to delay the Dhuhr communal prayer until half an hour before the Asr prayer, while also performing it at the beginning of its time?

The imamate (leading the prayer) of a discerning boy for others is valid, but it is not permissible for a woman to lead a man in prayer, even if he is not an adult, according to the majority of scholars. What the group does by delaying the prayer is contrary to what is best, as they miss performing the prayer at its earliest time, which is a commendable act, based on the Almighty's saying: "So hasten to [all that is] good," and on the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud: "Prayer at its appointed time."
