What are the wife's obligations toward her husband's family when living with them, whether they are elderly and ill, or in good health and not old?

The first person a woman should treat kindly and obey is her husband, for his right takes precedence over the rights of her parents, relatives, and kin. As for the husband's parents, she is not obligated to them with any rights beyond what is due to relatives or neighbors, unless the husband commands something concerning them, in which case obedience to him is obligatory, within reasonable bounds.
