What is meant by each of the following: "two deaths that seize you like the deaths of sheep," "the abundance of wealth until a man is given a hundred dinars and yet remains dissatisfied," and "a tribulation that will not spare any Arab household without entering it," mentioned in the Hadith? And is the conquest of Jerusalem mentioned in the Hadith the one that occurred during the time of Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab?

The aforementioned hadith (definition) is authentic, narrated by Al-Bukhari and others. The minor signs of the Hour mentioned therein are: the death resembling a sheep plague (muwatan ka qa'as al-ghanam), which refers to the Plague of Amwas that afflicted Muslims in ash-Sham after the conquest of Jerusalem during the caliphate of Umar. And the abundance of wealth (istifadat al-mal), which occurred during the era of the Companions, specifically during the caliphates of Uthman and Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz. And the tribulation (fitnah) that will not leave any Arab house untouched, which refers to the tribulations that occurred among Muslims after the killing of Uthman, and may also include modern-day tribulations such as media, intellectual invasion, and usury. And the conquest of Jerusalem (fath Bayt al-Maqdis), which occurred after the death of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, during the caliphate of Umar, and may include what occurred at the hands of Salah (definition) ad-Din and what will soon occur when Muslims fight the Jews.
