Is charity beneficial for a sick mother whose illness has affected her mind? And is it permissible to intend a separate complete reading of the Quran for each of these: reciting the Quran during Qiyam (night prayer), during the day, and during sessions of teaching children?

It is permissible for you to give charity on behalf of your mother during her lifetime, using your own money. However, it is not permissible for the charity to be from her money unless she gives her consent.

As for starting three recitations (khatmas) of the Qur’an at one time, this is permissible, even though it is contrary to what is preferable. This is because the recommended practice is to complete one recitation before starting another.
