The agent must disburse the expiation in its proper manner, by giving the ten expiations for oaths to at least 10 poor people, either by feeding them or clothing them. It is not permissible to give it as money, according to the majority of scholars. However, the Hanafis permitted giving its value to one poor person, with a condition.
