If a person paid 1800 pounds to a charity with the intention of it being 6 expiations for different oaths, and the person in charge informed him that they do not observe the conditions of expiation in terms of the number of needy people or repeated feeding, are these expiations considered valid, or must they be redone? The agent must disburse the expiation in its proper manner, by giving the ten expiations for oaths to at least 10 poor people, either by feeding them or clothing them. It is not permissible to give it as money, according to the majority of scholars. However, the Hanafis permitted giving its value to one poor person, with a condition. If the agent followed the Hanafi school of thought, the expiation is valid; otherwise, you must pay it again.
