What is the ruling on working with a person who resorted to trickery to obtain the position of muezzin and imam, a position he does not deserve?

It is forbidden for an unqualified person to make the call to prayer (adhan) or lead people in prayer (imamah), as this exposes their acts of worship to flaw. It is also forbidden for him to work as a muezzin or imam if he does not meet the required conditions for the position, especially if he obtained it through cheating and forgery. He should be advised to leave this work, and if he does not respond, his matter should be referred to the authorities.
