Is it permissible for a divorced woman during her waiting period (iddah) to complete her university studies, knowing that she was studying before the divorce, and that studying was a condition of the marriage, and that her husband has not consummated the marriage with her for a month and she has menstruated during this period?

If a revocably divorced woman ( raj'i) is involved, she should not leave her home except out of necessity or with her husband's permission, because she is considered to be like a wife. She should not go out for studies unless it is for an obligatory science (knowledge) and her husband is not sufficient to teach it to her. However, if the husband gave permission for her to go out for studies at the time of the marriage contract, then there is no harm upon her. If she is irrevocably divorced (talaq ba'in), then she is permitted to go out.
