Is it permissible to wash the male organ with wet paper wipes instead of directly pouring water on it after urinating?

It is not permissible to use a wet tissue for istinja' (cleaning oneself after relieving oneself) because it spreads the impurity and is not sufficient. Rather, it is obligatory to pour water on the site of urination until it is purified. Al-Dusuqi al-Maliki said: "It is not permissible to use a wet [substance], meaning it is forbidden, because it spreads the impurity."
