What is the validity of the fast of a wife who treated her husband's anal wound during the day in Ramadan, and is she required to make up those days, given her aversion to the act and her inability to refuse, and her husband's ability to treat himself?

If treatment necessitates inserting something into the anus, and the Muslim can postpone it until after breaking the fast, then he must do so; because the entry of anything into the cavity (of the body) invalidates the fast. However, if postponement will lead to illness, or its worsening, or delayed recovery, then treatment is permissible, and he must make up for the fast. As for the patient's wife, her fast is valid, whether the husband is unable to treat his wound or is able to do so.
