What is the ruling regarding a man who anally penetrated his wife during the daytime in Ramadan?

Anal intercourse is forbidden by the Qur’an and Sunnah. Its perpetrator is cursed, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prohibited anal sex with women. Whoever commits this act during a Ramadan day has invalidated their fast and must make up that day along with performing expiation. The expiation is, in order: freeing a slave; if unable, then fasting for two consecutive months; if unable, then feeding sixty needy persons. Along with this, repentance and seeking forgiveness are obligatory.
