What is the ruling on a husband having anal sex with his wife during the daytime in Ramadan, along with giving charity?

Whoever has intercourse with his wife anally or vaginally during the daytime in Ramadan has committed a grave sin and must offer the expiation prescribed by Sharia. Intercourse with a woman anally is one of the major sins even outside of Ramadan, so what about when it occurs during Ramadan, specifically during its daytime, when a Muslim is obligated to abstain from permissible desires?
