What is the ruling on earning profit from the internet by collecting points and money through watching advertisements and videos, reading news, participating in free competitions, and inviting friends to subscribe, then converting these into money that is withdrawn via electronic banks, digital wallets, or mobile phone credit? Is it permissible to donate a portion of this money if it has been acquired?

Profits from the internet and applications can be either permissible (halal) or forbidden (haram), depending on their adherence to Sharia guidelines and their freedom from prohibitions. It is permissible to profit from browsing websites if the advertisements and videos are permissible. It is also permissible to profit from bringing subscribers to beneficial competitions, provided that the subscriber does not pay money. Furthermore, transferring money via PayPal is permissible. Lawful (halal) money may be used and given in charity. However, unlawful (haram) money may neither be taken nor given in charity, because Allah only accepts what is pure.
