What were the characteristics of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?

Allah Almighty uniquely endowed His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) with the most beautiful moral characteristics. He (peace be upon him) said of himself, "Indeed, Allah sent me to perfect noble character." And Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) described his character by saying, "His character was the Qur'an." As for his physical attributes, he was of medium stature, neither tall nor short. His complexion was fair and radiant, neither intensely white nor dark. His hair was neither tightly curled nor completely straight, but wavy. His palm was softer than silk, and his scent and sweat were more pleasant than any fragrance. When he was pleased, his face would light up as if it were a piece of the moon.
