What is the ruling on having intercourse with one's fiancée during the daytime in Ramadan while she is fasting and it is by force, and do they owe expiation if this is repeated?

Sexual intercourse with one's wife during the daytime in Ramadan is forbidden and necessitates making up the fast (qada') and expiation (kaffarah) for the husband. There is no expiation or making up of the fast for the wife if she was coerced. As for sexual intercourse with a fiancée (who is not yet married by contract) during the daytime in Ramadan, it is one of the major sins, and the sin is compounded because it occurs during the daytime in Ramadan. The one who commits it must repent, make up the fast, and offer expiation.
