What is the cure for suspicion?

To cure the affliction of ill-conjecture, one must reflect upon the truth of human weakness and forgetfulness, which leads to seeking excuses for them. One must also consider the right of brotherly faith, which necessitates good conjecture about a believer. Furthermore, one should avoid dubious situations so that ill-conjecture is not harbored against a Muslim. If a Muslim does fall into a dubious situation, he must clarify the matter to dispel ill-conjecture about himself and his brethren.
