How can I overcome doubt and suspicion regarding my husband and overcome myself?

The default principle is to consider a Muslim's actions as sound, to think well of him, and to seek excuses for him. This is especially emphasized between spouses due to the affection, mercy, and good companionship between them. Allah has forbidden much of the evil suspicion of believers, and spying and seeking out their faults. Suspicions that are not based on what justifies them legally are not permissible, due to the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him: “Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the falsest of speech.” We advise against indulging in doubts and to seek refuge from Satan.
