Is it permissible to supplicate, seek intercession, and make oaths by Allah's divinity, Lordship, His magnificent Self, and His Most Beautiful Names and Attributes?

Asking of Allah by His Beautiful Names and Attributes, as well as by His Divinity (Uluhiyyah) and Lordship (Rububiyyah), and by His Magnificent Essence, is permissible. This is indicated by the saying of Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man saying: "O Allah, I ask You by the fact that You are Allah, the One, the Self-Sufficient, Who begets not nor is begotten, and there is none comparable to Him." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He has asked Allah by His Greatest Name, which, if He is asked by it, He gives, and if He is called upon by it, He answers." As for saying: "I adjure You by Your Divinity and Lordship," or "by Your Magnificent Essence," this is not correct. The correct way to say it is: "I swear by You by Your Divinity and Lordship," or "I swear by You by Your Magnificent Essence," and this is permissible as long as it does not involve anything forbidden.
