Is it permissible to take money from the father to buy an apartment in the mother's name, given that the first wife refuses his overnight stay and service?

A man with two or more wives must be fair to them in lodging, accommodation, and expenditure, unless one of them waives her right. Scholars have differed on the obligation of fairness in gifts and extra luxuries beyond the obligatory expenditure. The Shafi'is, Hanbalis, and the more prevalent view among the Malikis permitted preferential treatment after fulfilling the obligation, while the Hanafis mandated equality. The preponderant opinion is the obligation of equality in all matters where fairness is possible, such as expenditure, gifts, and the like. This is the view chosen by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, Shaykh al-Sa'di, Ibn Baz, Ibn 'Uthaymin, and the scholars of the Permanent Committee, based on the hadith: "Whoever has two wives and inclines to one of them over the other, will come on the Day of Resurrection with his side leaning."
